It's Been A While...

I apologize for not keeping up with my blog. I had to take a sudden trip to Puerto Rico for the funeral of an uncle. Though the circumstances were sad, I throughly enjoyed my trip. It was great meeting most of my 61 cousins (yes....61 first cousins), and soaking in the sun on the beaches of San Juan. I will post pictures and more details a little later. In case you're wondering, I did read and complete the final book in Stephanie Meyer's Twilight Series, Breaking Dawn. It was great!!!

Happy Halloween

It's The MOST Wonderful Time

While at Target yesterday I noticed that their Christmas decor was out. While it is, indeed, very pretty, I believe it's a bit premature. I mean...Halloween isn't here yet! Nonetheless, we've been discussing and planning for the holidays. I would LOVE to go back home to NYC for Christmas. I believe NYC during Christmas is very beautiful. My mom has been asking since she hasn't seen us since April. But the cost of all of us traveling to NYC in December is very high. Plus, I have to make multiple trips to NYC next year due to weddings and other festivities. Both of my brother-in-laws have requested that we go out west to visit them in Utah for Christmas. I think it'll be a lot of fun to do that. But then I think of my other brother-in-law, Ryan, and the fact that this is his last Christmas at home before he goes on his mission for our church for 2 years. So we have a lot to think about and a lot to plan. What are your plans for the end-of-year holidays?

Today In History

July 07, 2001 - Adam & Esmeralda were married for all time and eternity in the Atlanta Georgia Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Today is our 7 year anniversary. Do you know what that means? We're getting old. HA! Seriously, though, it's been great. We have a very strong relationship, and work together to reach our goals. Today we had a great family dinner and Adam got me a new digital camera to replace my old one that was broken. So happy anniversary to my one true love!

Feeling Blah

Getting sick on a holiday. It never fails. I've been sick since early this morning. I don't know if it's something I ate last night, or just the stress of life. So there will be no celebrating for me. Just some nausea medicine and a bucket by the bed. :[ I hope everyone's holiday is better than mine. Happy Independence Day!
