It's as Easy as Riding a Bike

Have you ever heard that expression before? I have. Many, many times. But to someone like me, "It's as easy as riding a bike" means it's difficult. You see, I don't know how to ride a bike. *gasp* Yes, that's right. I can't ride a bike. So when I was in Puerto Rico a couple of weeks ago, and my cousin suggested we rent some bikes and ride down the coast and visit Old San Juan, I had to confess this secret. He looked at me as if I had 5 heads, and then laughed. It was hilarious to him that a person did not know how to ride a bike. So I have made a goal to learn to ride bike before my trip to Puerto Rico in June. I am going with my good friends, Jenn and Heather, on Saturday to "learn" to ride a bike. I am nervous. I don't know why. It seems pretty pathetic, huh? But I am. So, does anyone have any suggestions slash recommendations slash advice, so that I won't injure slash kill slash break anyone or anything?

I also never liked that saying, because after one winter, I did forget how to ride a bike.
