I'm back! For good, I hope. I must admit, once the Olympics started the little bit of internet time I had, went to watching TV. It was hard not to get into it. So many great athletes. From swimming, to gymnastics, and softball, tennis, and beach volleyball, volleyball, along with mens and womens basketball...I'm glad this is every 4 years. I was going to bed very late because of it. Stephen and Kristina were here a couple of weeks ago. We had lots of fun especially making fun of Stephen. It's still weird saying that he's married. Amber and the kids were also here, and it was great seeing them. Lindsay has started the fifth grade (*tear*), and it's been emotional on ME. We had Open House on Tuesday with her teacher, and for some reason other parents were surprised to see both Adam and myself there. Why is it hard to comprehend that a father is interested in his daughter's education? Get a grip people! She has a male teacher this year. He is strict and assigns a lot of homework. YES! Maddy is completely potty trained! WOOHOO! Oh the joy of not having to purchase diapers, and having to wrestle her for a change. I have bought night time diapers, however, she wakes up dry or wakes up in the middle of the night to go. She has also said goodbye to her sippy cups and eats with utensils. Sometimes I wonder if we're going to have to brace for the worst later on. She's done this all one her own, and relatively drama free. So that is my update. Hopefully I won't be such a slacker from here on out. That is, until LOST begins.
