It seems like drama is everywhere....even in the Olympic Games. We were all in awe with the Olympic Opening Ceremony. Then this week we learned that Beijing enhanced Olympics show with faked 'fireworks'. What?! I didn't think that was possible. But apparently it is. Then we found out that the voice of the girl who sang "Ode to the Motherland", was not that of beautiful 9-year-old Lin Miaoke. Apparently the 7-year-old Chinese girl was not good-looking enough for the Olympics opening ceremony. Again, I say "WHAT?!" Then there's the women's gymnastics team. Anyone who watched China's team get out on the floor probably said, "HUH?" These girls look as young as my 10 year old. No amount of blye eye shadow could cover that up. How could these girls be 13 nine months ago, and 16 now? I understand the Chinese have worked hard with Project 119, but to cheat? That's just wrong. Yes, the US Women's Gymnastic team made some mistakes. But these girls are legit. On a side note Adam pointed out today that Mongolia won their first gold ever today. My brother-in-law, who served a mission in Mongolia, will appreciate that. His Canadian wife probably won't since Canada has yet to win a medal of any kind.
