Creature of Habit

Since moving back to TN, I am unable to sleep. Last night, I tossed and turned, got up to check the girls, got up to check the dog, go to the bathroom, drink water, check the thermostat, read my scriptures, and did everthing but sleep. I finally dozed off at 5am, just to be woken up at 7:30 by Adam when he asked me if I knew where his belt was. :[ Maybe it's moving back and forth between Eastern and Central time. Maybe it's the bed. Maybe it's something I'm eating. Maybe it's the temperature. Maybe it's the covers on the bed. Or perhaps it has to do with the big orange street light that is in front of the bedroom window. Whatever the reason is, I can't sleep. I am exhausted throughout the day, so I refuse to nap so that my nighttime sleep wouldn't be interrupted. But as soon as I lay down, I am wide awake. In Enterprise, I was used to wake up at a certain time everyday, eat at the same time, do everything at the same time. I am very big in routines and, therefore, have my daughter's on a routine. I feel very strong about it because children need consistency. But no matter what I do, I cannot sleep. I need rest or I'm afraid I'll fall asleep at the wheel one day.
