The Judge Will Now See You

I went to court today to respond to the traffic citation I received a few weeks ago. The judge dismissed the case calling it "ludacris". He had the same arguments that I did: I have auto insurance, and going over by 3 mph is not a valid reason for a ticket especially when everyone was driving in a group of cars. So I didn't even have to pay court costs. Yay, hooray! So why am I not celebrating? On the way out, a little girl held the door open for me. Her mother called her and said, "Don't hold the door for that Mexican." What?! I told her I am AMERICAN. She then said, "So your momma is Mexican. So what?" I got in her face and told her to shut up because I am Puerto Rican AKA American, and if she didn't have her daughter with her I would bash her face in. This other lady pulled my arm and told me to just walk away. I am MAD. MAD, MAD, MAD! I grew up in NYC, I have lived in Oregon, but it wasn't until I moved to the South that I have experienced this anger and ignorance towards hispanics. I am mad! I work hard, pay my taxes, and don't bother anyone. Then some ignorant punk has the nerve to disrespect me and my family. I am speechless. I am without speech.

Yeah for not having to pay for your ticket!

Some people are so stupid, sorry to hear about what happened.
