Well, the recipe was a success and a big hit! I found the recipe in a Weight Watchers magazine a long time ago and decided to try it. You should all try it. Here is it.
What you will need:
- 1 whole chicken
- seasoning of your choice (I used Italian seasoning)
- cooking spray
- aluminum foil
- crockpot
Directions:
Remove insides from the chicken. You can toss this or use it for another meal if you so desire. Throughly wash the chicken. Pat completely dry. Generously sprinkle seasoning on the chicken. Sprinkle on the inside and out. Spray cooking spray in the crockpot. Take the aluminum foil and ball into small balls. Place these inside the crockpot. Place chicken breast side down. Cook on high for 4-5 hours.
The chicken was very tender and tasted just like the one made in the store. We also have leftovers which will be used throughout the week.
My chicken all ready to be cooked:

Here is the "after" picture: YUMMY!
2 Interesting Remarks:
Sounds yummy. Too bad I don't have a crockpot
That looks good and easy I should try it!
